Created this shot for a new video about a soldier who loses a leg in battle.  This is based on real technology, a prosthetic that connects to nerve endings, and can be controlled with the mind.  Used 3DS Max and Mental Ray for rendering.  I spent way too much time researching prosthetic limbs, scars and scabs, and body hair to create this shot.
